Janet Jackson has always been quite artistic yet contraversonal with her works. Arguingly, the Velvet Rope can be one of her biggest occult inspired piece yet.
On the album cover even though she's looking down. You can see the one eye symbolism. Although not as blatant as some our other faves (Jay, Bee, GaGa, Rihanna)
The symbolism on the back of her album cover. Which symbolizing new beginnings and forgetting your past. Which is very relevant due to the riruals performed on this album. Janet had to be rebirthed.
In her video for the song 'Everytime' the theme is Water Transformation.
The entire video she is naked and reminiscing over a break up.
There is a scene which she is under water with her blue rope and her transformation is beginning.
But wait where have I seen this before.
Rihanna Russian Roulette
Beyonce Halo
Aaliyah Rock The Boat
Janet is a jackson MK Ultra slave and my personal belief is Joe Jackson sold her into monarch slavery early on. Right when she came from under his management her album was titled 'Control'. In the video performance her set is shaped like the masonic square and compass. Poor, Janet is not in control but just has a new set of handlers Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam.
I Gets So Lonely video has significant symbolism and is also one of intiation ritual. The video shows her and her dancer dances in a pyramid shape. She's in black and white her dancers in black. Dual theme. In the car scene which represents spiritually transportation in the occult versus physical. She sits in the backseat as it rains and she looks stressed and worried as she looks out the window. But wait where have I seen this before.
Keyshia Cole Playa Cardz Right
Omarion's Ice Box
Crazy in Love Beyonce
In full moon brandy rides in the front seat which demonstrates she's in control during this ritual.

When the car door opens Janet is then inbetween the seat and transportated into a dark hallways which lights up the more she walks. Also you see her by herself in social isolation laying on top of a snake.
But wait where have I seen this isolation and snake theme before.

Persuasions of the Dark Side (Part 1 of 3)
Aaliyah's We Need A Resolution.
Janet also caresses the mannequin in the video. Mannequin programming.
Got Until It Gone's promo pic shows janet's silhouteete's which symoblism a lifeless soul. Similar to lady gaga's album cover.
Call My Lover
Janet travels on a rode she goes left. There are baptism taking place. A boy on a pale horrse. And stars all over the video.
Doesn't matter she is awaken in a robotic state.
Together again she begins the video sitting on a rock singing with a falcon on her side.
She sits with a panther and mimicks them discreetly as she sings sex kitten programming.
Also she is positioned like one of the hindu gods in this picture which aspired her hair style.
Black and White Duality Theme....
Which isn't her first time either.
Interesting magazine cover notice the one eye symobism.
Everything about Velvet was symbolic to her wardrobe, videos, promos, etc.She said in her interview with Robin herself that she was doing alot of soul searching with that album.

Janet has a lot of robotic agenda being promoted in her work.
Which makes me think she is aware of what she's into but just another illuminated robot.
How far would you climb if at all on the velvet rope?

None of your pictures are working. There are some very good observations here though. I like how spot symbolism and connect it to other videos exposing the repetition.
I like to read these blogs because I do believe something is fishy about the pop industry, but I am also an atheist so there's only so far I'm willing to go.
The problem I'm noticing with a lot of you is A) Subpar research abilities. Don't be tempted to launch before you've covered ALL the ground. (in this post, you missed or ignored why Erykah was born with $3.60).
B) For some reason you all like to stick to this long-winded format which comes off as more as a tirade than anything. This post starts out about Neo-soul artists but somehow it only focuses on Erykah Badu and Janet Jackson, with splashes of other artists in between. Figure out what your subject is, and stick to it. Don't model yourself off of other, similar blogs that are also making the same mistakes.
Oddly enough, even as an atheist, I say this to help you. I do think something is just off about this whole charade and it desperately needs more exposure. But you guys have to come harder than this if you're going to be respected.
Good luck.
Hello, I just want to say that I really like your posts, and wish you would continue writing more in depth posts, keep up the good work, reader in chgo thanks.
